Aloha Thomas. Just sent you 50 thank yous for hosting this site. I just turned 70 on April 1st. and I am playing bass better than I ever have in my life. All thanks to your site and inspiration. BTW, I remember playing at the Tivoli Gardens back in 1974 with Kris Kristofferson and Copenhagen was my favorite city on that tour. I was impressed with all of the flower boxes on the buildings and how clean the city was. I’m not interested in slap or funk, just trying to build some speed and improve my technique. I have kinda small hands so it is a test. Also, when I click on my favorites, why doesn’t it save them to a list. Because when I go to “My Favorites” there is nothing there. This is an incredibly inspirational site for bass players. I stumbled across some of Thomas’ videos a few months ago on various sites and was instantly impressed with his groove, sound, ease and style. I totally agree what others have said about his bass tuition style from the glimpses I’ve seen of it. Real class.

I’m half way through the R&B Bass Masters book, but soon (maybe in parallel) I’ll start building some sort of curriculum with the amazingly broad material here. I can’t wait! In the meantime I feel strongly enough about what you’re doing here Thomas and the benefit you’re giving to the bass community that I’ll donate right away – I think about $20 is right for me now, but I’m more than happy to donate more later too as I get more value from the site.

I know the theory forwards and backwards, but YOU have put it all together for me with your versatility and simplicity of teaching style.
