I know many of the ibanez basses have narrow necks, such as the sound gear range, and string spacing is narrow.
If i were you i’d sell your ibanez and get something with a wider string spacing, say 19 or 20mm at the bridge. Some bridges allow spacing adjustment too, but such are more expensive usually. I don’t know about basses in your part of the world, but here in Japan, I would recommend any bacchus, Aska, STR, moon, they all have standard spacing of about 18 or 19 mm and lovely flat, broader fret boards.

Hey Danny great lesson. I was just wondering if your bass was a narrow neck bass? I have a five string that is a narrow neck bass IBANEZ, and while I do some slapping and popping it is very annoying. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Very good…however, improved lighting would be most helpful.
