BassIda shows the funk

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

A great funky bassplayer from my home country Denmark – We just have to support the the local troops;-)

BASSIDA aka IDA FUNKHOUSER aka Ida Kristine Nielsen!
Sings, raps and play bass!!

First solo album out now: “Marmelade”.
The music is a mix of old school funk, hiphop and ear catching soul.
-With a lot of Bass in it :-)
Ida is also the bass player of ZAP MAMA and have been playing all instruments, writing and producing music in different bands for years.

Here Bassida shows how to play her bass line to her funky track Marmelade

correction: ZAP MAMA of course, and not the strumstyle (well that also) but the step bass groove. Thats really difficult to get to sound like music. I’ll keep on practicing.

Thx again Marlowe. I have spent hours in here. I’m gonna donate some day ;-)

ZAP MAMMA is a fantastic group from Belgium. But anyway, thx for the great stuff in here to BassIda and Marlowe and also Sebu (really tricks me out that strumstyle bass).

Really nice & luckily it still sounds groovy in the slower version. Your accent doesn’t sound Danish at all btw.
Can we expect more of you’re playing in lessonformat?
