Hi MarleweDK, I’m really surprised to hear that your videos have been removed from youtube. Its a travesty against data-sharing and dissemination of information. At least for me, someone just learning to play the bass, that’s one crucial source which has been cut out.

I was browsing through youtube videos some weeks ago and stumbled on one of your bass licks (bass grove school 03). I really liked the fluidity of the rhythm and decided to learn it. However I returned to the youtube site and searched endlessly for it without success. It was even by chance that I got redirected to your site.

Keep up the good work and don’t give up. If anything at all, your motivation should be that there are learners like me who will struggle in the bass-playing field without the guidance of people like you.

Well about the grove I mentioned above(bass grove school 03). I’m gradually mastering it. However, I haven’t quite grasped how you play the vibrato/glissando. I’m able to play it but it doesn’t sound right. I think my fingering technique is poor. I wish I had the words to explain in the correct vocabulary.

Anyway, keep up the good work! I really appreciate your contribution to the bass guitar world.

Regards
Dominic
