MarloweDK meets Larry Graham on Bass

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites A dream come true, playing Larry Grahams bass on stage with the Master himself:-) Venue is "Jazz by the Sea" at Copenhagen Jazz festival 2011 I wont wash my thumb for a long time:-D A thin guy with a white bass hides behind a fat guy in the start of the video - I guess he is shy;-) The sound is unfortunately very shitty, but you can hopefully get an idea of the vibe. Notice the two local danish guys in the hornsection, trumpet player is Michael Millfield THANK YOUI LARRY GRAHAM! FOR THE INSPIRATION!

It is entirely fitting that all your hard work and dedication to the bass has brought you to an opportunity to share the stage with a true bass playing legend. It’s also a testementy to gentleman that Larry Graham is for sharing the stage. Keep on Keepin’ on, Marlow! 😉

The gods were smiling that evening because it was meant to be. Greatness meets greatness. The only difference is generation.

That must have been amazing, even playing his bass.
Imagine what you would have told anyone telling this would happen, way back in the seventies, when you were trying to master his basslines 😉
