This lick is particularly challenging!

The sound a little strange is obtained through many chromatism.

The basic groove used the A minor pentatonic.

The signature is 4/4 and 5/4.  The solo passage in sextuplets requires a great coordination between right and left hand.

You should work very very slowly!!

Wah, this is amazing!! This really puts my technique to the limits! :D Btw, do you only use your index and middle finger to play this? Dunno if my eyesight is getting worse but sometimes it looks like you’re using your ring finger as well.

this is awesome. That is the kind of stuff I used to love to play on saxophone. Great phrasing!

Patricio: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad

MarloweDK: Great to hear, enjoy it:-)
