soporific: Thanx Langerz! I got the same reaction when something happens. Rather break a leg than brooze a hand:-)
MarloweDK: To Gospelwarrior: Check my Px4d settings here
MarloweDK: To Nix:As you probably can hear, im not getting it always either:-) Try tapping on a table and transfer that to the bass - and practice makes better, dont expect everything to be mastered after 1 hour/day/month/year;-)
Nix: Hi Marlowe, i'm working on the latest lesson L302 but i'm just not getting that the typewriter tapping part. Do you have any advise. Anyway, love your site and all your doing for the community. Peace
Gospelwarrior: Hi Marlow, I'm trying to gain some skill with my Korg Pandora px4, But I'm getting hung up in all the amp and cabinet settings. I'm not picking things up well from the user manual. do you know of any other book or cheat sheet to learn this equipment? Thanks; you are much appreciated
BD Bass: DK......Thx for that advice, in this small town, hard to find anybody. I'll try him out for a week or so, if it doesnt work, I'll have the need to do things on-line. This is a hobby for me, well into a money career thing, If I ever get to the point of a small gig, I would consider it major
LANGERZ: eventually get your hands feeling alot better in a short amount of time however this is only my experience
LANGERZ: dear soporific im verry sorry to hear about your accident god knows when you hurt your hands its hell and the first thing i think is " oh no what about my bass" im my opinion and experience I have found that playing extremeley slowly doing chromatics at first untill your hands feel a bit looser then go onto other scales whilst making sure your playing with the most comfortable back straight position you can
soporific: A couple of days ago I crashed with my bike and injured my left hand & the right one a bit. So I'm home for the coming weeks, but not able to play properly. Does anyone have a suggestion how to work on scales and stuff without playing too much? Or some other advice how to improve my playing without playing:-)
hizzoner: that video you posted with Dyson made me almost fall out of my chair at work..I wanted to boogaloo so bad..more inspiration to practice.. looks like a skjold bass and eden amp....what technique..WOW thanks Mark
