Great lesson. If you play any amount of reggae, you have to forget about starting on the beat … I think think this is a really good lesson about start points within the rhythm. It can be really tricky for a beginner though and even more advanced players at times. You have to think and HEAR outside the box. Nice one.

I’m a beginning player and I feel it’s an insult to ask for tabs for such a simple riff. Listen to the notes, watch his hands, discover and really learn what he’s teaching. Tabs are crutches for people who can walk just fine without.

Patricio: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad

MarloweDK: Great to hear, enjoy it:-)
