Is your upright fitted with a pick-up?

Your bow technique is really progressing well. You are making a clear, focused sound consistently. Amazing progress for a short amount of time!

Keep on practicing!

Thx Paul, the elbow thing is much better now, but off course still drop on occasion:-) Trust me its much better than a month ago.

One thing that helped me was keeping my elbow perpendicular to the neck consistently. I notice you’re dropping your elbow a bit. I learned upright from a wheelchair, so I was also playing in a different position (next time I play an upright I’ll take a photo to show you- it actually worked pretty well). I know it’s a pain to keep that elbow up, but for me, when I dropped my elbow it pulled my hand out of position and made for strange tuning.
I’ve been considering getting another upright to replace mine beautifully cheap one that was stolen.
It’s awesome you’re picking up this hard axe at this point in your life. It *is* completely different than electric. But it’s sweet when it’s played right.
Good luck!
