Ive been listening a lot to the great gospel bass player Sharay Reed lately, his use of hammerons, slides and pulloffs in his awesome fills and general playing is very inspiring.
The fill mostly uses notes from the E Dorian minor scale (E, F#, G, A, B, C#, D)
Im playing a 1978 Music Man Stingray bass, with one of the best necks ive ever had the pleasure to play.
Strings are Dunlop nickel gauge 45-105
Amp is my trusty tc electronic RH450

Great work
My favorite bass is my old 1977 stingray. Do you have any G sting weakness on your bass? How do you compare this one to your ’77?

No g string weakness at all on any of the two basses, both are great, kind of similar but of course different
