Add to favorites A two bar bass fill/run in Eminor, using first the B minor pentatonic, then the Eminor Dorian scale with chromatic notes thrown in.
Use just part of it for one bar fills or solo snippets.
Im playing a 1975 Fender Jazz bass strung with Dunlop nickel strings gauge 45-105, using just the bridge pickup for a Jaco like sound.
The amp is a tiny Roland Bass cube
The lick is 2 1/2 measures, isn’t it?

No, not really, but it starts with a pickup a 16th after the 4 in the previous bar and ends a quarter note into the 3 rd bar. So according to your theory it lasts for 2 bars and almost 2 beats;-)
