Groove in D minor using the 4 finger technique (Matt Garrison, Damian Erskine, Gary Willis….)
Im playing a canadian built 5 string F-bass, model VF5
If you have noticed – I have a “playing ramp” installed between the pickups to keep my fingers from getting caught under the strings when using this plucking technique. Gary Willlis invented this contraption I think, if you want to know more search for “ramp” and “gary willis”. Gary Willis have done a video on have to construct a ramp yourself, it can be found on youtube.

: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad

You know this kind of adhesive plastic you can put on the windows so no one can see what you’re doing inside the house? I used that for making a ramp by sticking it between the pickups. Like 20 layers or something. Works really well and easy to make.
