L298 Extended blues scale exercise in A

The slow version is WRONG (sometimes its hard to dissect yourself) – so ive include a transcription / tab:-)
Mostly blues scale with added major third (its more a chromatic passing note here) – the last part of the four bar pattern is mostly notes from the dorian minor scale.
A good stamina exercise too.

I too am confused by the section that where there is a d going into a d sharp then e, but on the tab its 5 8 8.
Doesn’t 5 8 8 refer to the frets?
How can it be 8 then 8 on the same string yet going up ‘half a tone’?

For all of you having trouble finding the transcription link look right below the link for the online lessons, and right above the “Did you like this?” 
and if you use the tab, try learning notes on a staff, not the fret numbers!

If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad
