By using other ways of right hand picking you can come up with new ideas for – in this instance octaves, and then transfer the idea to standard picking if you wish (as in this example)

Flat.erik, i use a Boss RC2 Loop Station to create my practice-tracks.

Very easy to use and it has a built in drumsection. I paid 130 euro’s 2nd hand, wouldnt sell it for a thousand!

how can i make such great backing tracks? what do you use?
Ive used Mac Garageband with a drumloop, and recorded the 2 rhythmguitar 2 bar loops myself.
So you need a mac and a guitar…;-)

Patricio: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad
