This is a sweet lick. Possibly similar to tetractys’ comment above, I have difficulty muting the bottom string during the chromatic run. Any general advice on muting? I’m guessing your right thumb is resting against the E string, but I’d appreciate some pointers (or a lesson!) on this. Thanks.

I’ve had a hard time getting my muting to be as nice as yours on the chromatic run- is this a function of the left hand or the right hand? Great clip…
