A really great sounding lick (like always)!! I defy anyone to listen to this and not “move”. All of these techniques are new to me so I really appreciate your detailed verbal description, slow demonstration and accurate transcription in standard notation. Cheers, F. Clef

THANK YOU!!!! What a GREAT job of taking us through this wonderful groove step by step. I’ve learned sooooo much, and can do what you show us when you break it down like this.

Have a great day,
Phil

Hey Marlowe, great stuff as always, really keeps me motivated and enthusiastic on the bass. What settings do you use to get your slap sound?
The settings from my Korg px4d is listed onthis page

Dug: would someone be so kind and do a tutorial on "i'll be there" by Marcus Miller? just thought i'd ask!!! thx Marlowe, i luv it here!!!

Patricio: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad

MarloweDK: Great to hear, enjoy it:-)

Soulburn: Finally I donwloaded the DVD, its simply amazing. I wait for more material like this. Thanks you very much! Cheers from Argentina

MarloweDK: Thank you, and yes, i will make something else for the next dvd
