How do I get the backing track? I love this lick, and I find it helps a lot when I have the backing to play along too.

In pop /rock /funk “daily playing” I only use a few “modes” , mostly ionian, aolian and dorian. Any way – Gm dorian is 2nd step of a F major (ionian if you will) scale, so you can of course also call the notes i play A phrygian, C mixolydian etc. In this case G is the root, thus its the G Dorian minor scale/mode.
A picture of me? GTFOOH!;-)

Marlowe ..Just when I though I understood something about modes… You are doing an accending phygian in A…right?.(15 sec. Second phrase)….How in theory does that fit??….Bb would be the relative major? Then I would use use a D phygian?..Ohhh ..master you have stumped me ….lol…A lil word of advice? point me in the right direction.

You are a hero to many….Well I assume…To me anyways..Hows about an autographed pic??? I’ll pay ya??? I would definitly stick it up in my practice room for inspiration! let me know! and if you have an answer for my Phygian dilema great too!

Awsome sound! I have a pandora + fender jazz, wondering what effects you used/use in most of your vids (and this vid), having trouble replicating that tone, its just so sexy! Please help! x
I list all my settings on recording-videos

Patricio: Hi MDK, Wow waht a great DVD... just spent a few hours learning the first few lessons... great quality and well taught... I'm very pleased with my purchase. If any improvment could be made I would only say could there be a 'repeat' funcion so that you can get a lick to play continually? or what aboutt a not showingthe BPM so that we can use the correct tempo using the drum patterns... overall a wonderful job... I look forward to more downloads in the future.... especially for IPad

MarloweDK: Great to hear, enjoy it:-)

Soulburn: Finally I donwloaded the DVD, its simply amazing. I wait for more material like this. Thanks you very much! Cheers from Argentina
