Dont remember which effect, it was a distortion program from the Korg px4d (i usually just fiddle with knobs when i make a new sound. I guess i need to take notes of what i use for every lick). And no, havent tried Ibanez basses, and faact havent tried many other basses than the ones i have:)

Hey Thomas,

Great site. I’ve been playing and writing music since I first saw the Beatles at age 10 on the Sullivan show and now at age 56 I am taking up the bass. I was wondering what type of effects box you are using on the Ric in L218 HEAVY PENTATONIC W CHROMATIC NOTES lesson and what you think of the higher end Ibanez basses?

Hi Thomas
I’ve just learnt about the Youtube problem … May be as a musician, I can understand the copyright problems for the playalong, but what’s the matter with your own music ?? … Please don’t give up… We all musicians support you .. What you do is great, generous and with an incredible quality… Thank you so much for what you did, do and will do… As a bass teacher I’ve recommanded your site to many young players and they love it; I believe that i’t the real truly reward (compensation?) for you . I’m sure that you will find a solution to this problem .. I trust in your talent cheers J.F. DAN GUILLAUME
Nothing was wrong with my original stuff, the playalong did me in
And Thx for the support to everybody:)

Hello Thomas,
You have my support from France.I ‘ve heard about “the f***ing problem with UTube. It’s so ridiculous that I think I’ll never return on their site. c’est ce que devient internet: ce sont des imbeciles.
I’ll tell all the musicians I know in France to “boycott” UT and let go visit your site playbassnow.com.
With respect,…keep on goin’,bye
(excuse my “bad english”)
hubert.
